The Jes LeRe Hama Corporation (JLRH) is a not-for-profit 501 © (3) public benefit organization founded in 1997 by Marlon C Reid (named in honor of his parents, the late Jesse Lee and Hattie Mae Reid.) to transform distressed and underserved communities.
Born and raised in Marianna, Arkansas, Marlon realized early in life that he lived in a community with unmet needs. He saw those needs and worked tirelessly to find a solution to change the social and economic status of a region.
BONITA B. REID
Bonita B. Reid serves as Vice President of the Jes LeRe Hama Corporation and operates the company alongside her husband Marlon C Reid. Jes LeRe Hama (JLRH) is a not-for-profit 501 © (3) public benefit organization founded in 1997 to create versatile programs and provide facilities that will build individuals and communities in the areas of education, health, economics, leadership, civic and recreational activities.
Bonita B Reid attended Arkansas State University (ASU) in Jonesboro, Arkansas where she completed undergraduate requirements for pharmacy school. She then continued her education in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bonita obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from UAMS in May of 2000.
Bonita began her pharmacy career at Baptist Memorial Hospital in April of 2000, where she worked as a Clinical Pharmacist. In May of 2001, Dr. Reid became a part off the clinical staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, where she currently works today. As a part of the clinical staff, she routinely consults, assesses, and verifies accurate drug dosing for women and neonates.
In 2015, with the addition of the Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children’s Hospital and ER, Dr. Reid’s duties were expanded to include pediatric care. Dr. Reid has been active in the community by providing drug safety education to students in elementary and high schools in surrounding counties. Dr. Reid currently maintains pharmacy licensure in both Arkansas and Tennessee.
